Senior Product Manager (KYC Fraud & Risk)

Location: Vancouver office, hybrid with 3 days per week in the office. Other listed hubs include San Diego, San Francisco, and Toronto.

Base salary: CA$110,000–CA$160,000 in Canada or US$120,000–US$150,000 in the USA, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the multi-quarter roadmap and product vision for KYC fraud and risk solutions.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive research, customer discovery, and build-versus-buy evaluations.
• Represent customer needs across enterprise financial services, fintech, payments, and regulated industries.
• Lead cross-functional squads across Engineering, Data Science, Design, Legal, and Compliance using agile methodologies.
• Partner with ML and Data Science teams to define predictive signals, validate models, and deliver explainable risk scores.
• Communicate product strategy, roadmap decisions, and delivery milestones to executives, partners, and customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including significant work in KYC, identity verification, fraud detection, or risk decisioning.
• Deep expertise in synthetic identity fraud, document fraud, account takeover, and consumer onboarding risk.
• Hands-on experience defining ML requirements, interpreting model outputs, managing feedback loops, and translating insights into product features.
• End-to-end product roadmap ownership and experience delivering products in agile environments while influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience with third-party credit, identity, or risk data providers and strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AML/BSA frameworks, adverse media screening, PEPs, sanctions data, or regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with AI/ML Ops, LLMs, or agentic AI systems for fraud and identity workflows.
• Experience integrating fraud APIs, risk orchestration platforms, or decisioning engines.
• Exposure to identity data ecosystems and regulatory requirements across North America, Europe, and APAC.
• An active network in identity verification or fraud prevention.
