Product and Test Development Engineer (Analog)

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Develop, verify, and validate analog components against performance, quality, and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams on product development strategies.
• Analyze test data and recommend improvements to product designs and processes.
• Maintain development documentation in line with industry standards and hirify.global protocols.
• Support product qualification and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2–3 years of hands-on analog product development experience, or a relevant master’s degree with no prior professional experience.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Fundamental understanding of analog circuit design, signal integrity, power management, and noise reduction.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, BERTs, and automatic test equipment.
• Experience with circuit characterization, debugging methodologies, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Python, C++, or similar programming languages for testing solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes or product lifecycle methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for innovation and interest in advanced technologies.
