Materials Planner (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Manage inventory and release purchase orders for direct ingredients, packaging, and other raw materials using SAP MRP.
• Maintain material master data and MRP parameters, including lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and minimum-order considerations.
• Monitor material exceptions, deliveries, production changes, runouts, blocked inventory, slow-moving materials, scrap factors, and yields.
• Coordinate new material launches, product lifecycle transitions, discontinuations, test-run materials, and interplant or third-party transfers.
• Resolve supply, delivery, and vendor nonconformance issues with plant representatives, buyers, procurement, master data, and commercialization teams.
• Track category metrics, support inventory reduction and service improvements, contribute to supplier discussions, and provide backup coverage for other categories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or procurement-related functions.
• Experience with SAP and MRP systems.
• Ability to manage material orders, inventory parameters, production-related schedule changes, and supplier issues.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• 4+ years of supply chain, planning, or procurement experience.
• Power BI experience.
