Office 365 Engineer (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Administer, engineer, secure, and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Maintain and enhance Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Intune.
• Support identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, directory synchronization, and identity governance.
• Implement security and compliance capabilities such as DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery, audit logging, and information protection.
• Automate Microsoft 365 administration using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, including provisioning, licensing, and configuration.
• Support Power Platform governance and emerging Microsoft 365 capabilities such as Copilot.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant IT experience, including hands-on Microsoft 365 or Office 365 administration and engineering.
• Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Entra ID, Purview, and Intune.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience and hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident for more than 3 years and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, pilot deployment, governance, and adoption.
• Advanced Purview, PowerShell automation, and Microsoft Graph integration experience.
• Experience with Power Platform governance, Center of Excellence practices, Microsoft Defender, Zero Trust, passwordless authentication, or advanced Conditional Access.
• Experience supporting federal government environments, preferably HHS or a similar civilian agency.
• Master’s degree or existing Public Trust clearance.
