Solutions Engineer (M365 Copilot & Agents)

Location: US - Remote; travel to SHI, Microsoft, partner, and customer events may be required.

Annual pay range: $150,000–$207,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Assess Microsoft 365 tenants across identity, security, compliance, licensing, information architecture, collaboration, and data readiness.
• Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 E7, and Agent 365 deployments, including prerequisite validation, configuration, pilots, rollout support, and expansion.
• Identify and remediate oversharing, excessive permissions, unmanaged content, external-access risks, and other data-exposure issues across Microsoft 365.
• Configure governance and security controls using Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform.
• Manage agent inventories, ownership, approvals, monitoring, lifecycle workflows, blocking, retirement, and access controls.
• Develop PowerShell automation, consumption forecasts, cost-management policies, technical assessments, governance roadmaps, and operational runbooks for customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, deployment, governance, adoption, or expansion.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, identity governance, Microsoft Purview, information protection, DLP, retention, auditing, or eDiscovery.
• Experience identifying and remediating oversharing, excessive permissions, unmanaged content, or external-access risks.
• Hands-on PowerShell scripting, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to present technical, governance, licensing, and cost recommendations to customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agent 365, Entra Agent ID, Copilot Cowork, Work IQ, Agent Builder, declarative agents, connectors, plugins, or Model Context Protocol servers.
• Experience with Python, SDKs, Microsoft Graph, Entra APIs, Purview APIs, or other Microsoft cloud development tools.
• Experience governing Copilot Studio and Power Platform environments at enterprise scale.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender XDR, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Monitor, or Log Analytics.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, security, identity, compliance, Power Platform, Copilot, or AI.
