Senior Director, Corporate Security & Crisis Management (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid in San Diego, California (preferred), or Los Angeles or San Mateo, California; minimum two days onsite per week.

Base pay range: $228,600–$343,000 USD, plus potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and evolve the global corporate security strategy across physical security, travel security, event security, and GSOC operations.
• Develop and execute global crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity programs.
• Provide decisive leadership during natural disasters, workplace violence, cyber-related incidents, and other business disruptions.
• Establish risk thresholds, escalation protocols, governance practices, and evidence-based recommendations for executive leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global corporate security team.
• Oversee service providers, external partners, budgets, performance measures, reporting, and security awareness programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Progressive experience in corporate security, crisis management, or business continuity, including at least five years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Experience leading global corporate security operations in a large, complex, multinational organization.
• Deep knowledge of physical security, risk assessment, incident response, crisis management, and business continuity.
• Experience overseeing security technologies, operational programs, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, judgment, and collaborative leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Protection Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in technology, gaming, entertainment, or another fast-paced industry.
• Broad international experience involving regional security risks, regulatory considerations, and cultural nuances.
• Experience modernizing or scaling security operations in a global business.
