Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: White Plains, NY; hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week

hirify.global is hiring for a cloud architecture role supporting secure, production-grade AWS infrastructure and application workloads.

What you will do

• Design, build, and automate cloud-native solutions within AWS.
• Translate cloud standards into scalable, automated, and observable implementations.
• Develop serverless architectures and integrate REST APIs and middleware.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS SAM, and CloudFormation.
• Automate CI/CD workflows and collaborate across application, networking, and infrastructure teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, networking, and infrastructure layers.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Strong experience with CI/CD automation and GitHub Actions.
• Development experience with Python, Node, and/or Java, plus REST API development and middleware integrations.
• Understanding of IAM, OAuth 2.0, secrets management, observability, and distributed tracing.
• Production experience supporting cloud infrastructure and application workloads; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite three days per week in White Plains, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot, Dynatrace, PostgreSQL, RDS Proxy, Docker, and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of AWS Control Tower and Landing Zones.
• Exposure to AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock or AgentCore.
• AWS certifications.
