Staff AI Deployment Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with flexibility to travel onsite to customer locations

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, monitor, and improve agentic AI workflows using multi-step agents, tool and function calling, automations, prompts, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Connect agents and hirify.global platform capabilities to customer data sources, APIs, systems of record, workflows, permissions, and operational guardrails.
• Lead customer implementations from scoping and integration through validation, go-live, handoff, adoption, and steady-state support.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customer working sessions, demos, technical deep dives, requirements discovery, scope management, and delivery planning.
• Coordinate engineering, data science, product, and customer success teams while escalating blockers and feeding recurring customer needs back into product development.
• Own implementation roadmaps, requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, success metrics, reusable playbooks, templates, and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of customer-facing technical delivery experience in implementation, engineering, professional services, technical program management, or hands-on product management.
• Track record of delivering complex technical projects with external stakeholders under real deadlines and consequences.
• Working proficiency in Python or a comparable language, including reading code, writing and debugging scripts, building integrations, and shipping small features.
• Fluency with SQL and experience exploring and validating data independently.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying agentic AI systems, including LLM agents, tool and function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, or multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with prompt engineering, agent evaluation, APIs, Git workflows, cloud-hosted systems, data pipelines, data modeling, and ML systems; familiarity with MCP, LangChain, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger/OpenAPI, AWS, Azure, Databricks, Elasticsearch, Postgres, or Redshift.

Nice to have

• Experience with global trade, supply chain, customs, or trade compliance.
• Enterprise software implementation experience at scale, including multi-stakeholder and multi-quarter programs.
• Exposure to Spark, Databricks, or large-scale data processing.
• Experience building internal tooling or automation adopted by a team.
• Formal product management experience with roadmaps, specifications, and stakeholder prioritization.
