Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and manage cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, cost optimization, role management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters adapted to data science workloads.
• Develop Python tools for bulk data processing, REST APIs, authentication, and related server-side services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for internal platforms and client data science projects.
• Develop ETL scripts and data pipelines in Big Data environments.
• Implement infrastructure and services that support machine learning model development and deployment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a strong quantitative component, such as econometrics, physics, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data, DevOps, cloud, or software engineering.
• Good Python skills, familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, and a foundation in other programming languages; NoSQL experience is useful.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and security solutions.
• Strong interest in data and AI topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Dutch are required.
