Creative AI Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Hilversum, Netherlands; applicants must live within commuting distance of the Hilversum office. The role follows a 60:40 hybrid working policy and allows working from abroad for up to two weeks per year.

hirify.global is a fashion retailer building a growing AI team to support creative, marketing, and ecommerce initiatives.

What you will do

• Identify business problems where generative AI can create measurable value.
• Build production solutions across on-model imagery, video, packaging visuals, translation, copywriting, virtual audiences, and research insights.
• Own monitoring, output quality, operating costs, documentation, and fixes for delivered solutions.
• Protect brand tone, model likeness, usage rights, consent, and data privacy through workflow reviews and safeguards.
• Integrate AI solutions with Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft 365, and the Google Cloud data platform.
• Compare external generative tools with internal solutions and create templates, prompts, and guidance for business self-service.

Requirements

• Recent hands-on experience building and shipping generative AI or creative technology solutions across at least two of image, video, and text.
• A portfolio is required, and the selection process includes a portfolio review and a short practical exercise.
• Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, cloud platforms, prompt and retrieval design for language models, and image or video workflow tools such as ComfyUI.
• Experience building reliable solutions with monitoring, documentation, and cost control rather than only prototypes or demos.
• Strong judgment regarding fashion imagery, brand tone, usage rights, model likeness, consent, and data privacy.
• Written and verbal English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.

• Experience with Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
• Experience collaborating with creative directors, marketers, and engineers.
