AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid; openings in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London, Manchester, Budapest, Zagreb, and Skopje. Direct availability to start working in Budapest, Hungary is required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy data-driven AI and machine learning solutions for client challenges.
• Define AI use cases, validate concepts through proofs of concept, and deploy scalable production systems.
• Build end-to-end AI systems with MLOps practices for observability, monitoring, optimization, and reliable model performance.
• Develop multi-agent systems and AI workflows that orchestrate data, tools, and context.
• Architect modular backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs for integrating AI capabilities into client applications.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, strategy, and client teams while presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning and AI solutions.
• Experience with frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• Experience across the GenAI lifecycle, including observability, prompt optimization, evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and related AI services such as SageMaker, Azure ML, or Vertex AI.
• Strong Python skills and experience writing clean, testable, reusable code.
• Experience designing RAG solutions, including multi-source ingestion, embedding strategies, and vector search integration.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs, preferably with FastAPI.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud security, authentication, scalability, and guardrails for real-time AI applications.
• Knowledge of deep neural network architectures such as transformers.
• MSc in software, data, AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
