Talent Sourcer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $100K–$150K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Identify engineers with the technical ability, customer focus, and judgment required for Forward Deployed Engineer roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies across companies, technical communities, professional networks, and other channels.
• Research talent markets, build relationships with engineers, and write personalized outreach.
• Track response rates, conversion rates, and pipeline quality to improve sourcing effectiveness.
• Conduct initial candidate conversations and build talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to refine searches and turn successful sourcing approaches into repeatable practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, SDR work, or a comparable role, ideally in a fast-growing environment.
• Experience building engineering pipelines in competitive markets, including engaging passive candidates.
• Understanding of technical roles and the ability to have credible conversations with engineers about their work.
• Ability to recognize relevant skills across different backgrounds, job titles, and technology stacks.
• Strong written communication, thoughtful candidate engagement, initiative, and adaptability.
• Experience sourcing for Forward Deployed Engineering, solutions architecture, or other customer-facing technical roles.
