Senior Technical Sourcer

Location: Remote

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year in cash compensation, with additional equity options.

What you will do

• Build high-quality talent pipelines across Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Develop tailored sourcing strategies for product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers.
• Conduct creative research using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, portfolios, technical communities, conference lists, and public writing.
• Evaluate candidates using discipline-specific signals such as customer impact, design craft, technical depth, systems experience, and architectural judgment.
• Write personalized outreach connected to candidates’ work, interests, and career motivations.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers, track pipeline effectiveness, maintain candidate records in Ashby, and improve sourcing practices.

Requirements

• Strong sourcing experience and genuine interest in identifying exceptional, hard-to-reach talent.
• Ability to source credibly across Product, Design, and Engineering without relying only on job-title matching.
• Ability to research unfamiliar subject matter, recognize transferable experience, and calibrate with functional experts.
• Strong written communication skills for concise, personalized, and credible candidate outreach.
• Ability to use response rates, conversion data, representation, pipeline quality, and hiring outcomes to improve searches.
• Thoughtful use of AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar platforms, with attention to accuracy, privacy, and human judgment.

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, GitHub, portfolio platforms, or talent intelligence tools.
• Experience sourcing across different industries, company stages, geographies, and career paths.
