Summer Intern, Master's Finance Innovation & Technology (FIT) - New York, 2027

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

Salary: $40 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop innovative technology solutions for complex finance issues.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions using data, automation, and analytics.
• Build tools that improve efficiency and accuracy in finance.
• Analyze data, develop models, and support technology-enabled finance solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results and insights to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, with expected graduation by Spring 2028.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data analysis and project development.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, structured, collaborative, and communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis, process automation, or software development is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Two to three years of work experience before obtaining a master’s degree.
• Interest or experience in analytics, automation, modeling, and technology-enabled finance solutions.
