2027 Finance Summer Internship Program

Location: Hybrid in Warren, New Jersey, United States; 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. The 10-week program runs from May 31, 2027, to August 6, 2027. Candidates must possess permanent US employment authorization.

Salary: $800 per week. Benefits during the internship include health insurance coverage, 401k match, paid holidays, and paid time off.

What you will do

• Gain hands-on experience in investments, financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, corporate tax, internal audit, AP and expense, or finance systems and transformation, depending on placement.
• Analyze financial and business data and turn insights into reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, close activities, controls, and other Finance priorities.
• Contribute to projects improving Finance processes, systems, reporting, and automation.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues and business partners across a global insurance and reinsurance organization.
• Present work, build relationships with leaders, and participate in networking, professional development, and intern events while using AI and emerging technologies to solve business challenges.

Requirements

• Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new finance systems, tools, and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, collaborate effectively, and take initiative.
• Permanent US employment authorization; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Leadership and organizational skills, including involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs or organizations, or the community.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Leadership or involvement in campus, community, or extracurricular activities.
