Director of Production

Location: Remote (United States)

Annual base salary: $160,000–$170,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead photo, video, and content production across brand, performance marketing, social, e-commerce, and retail.
• Manage projects from briefing and bidding through pre-production, shoot days, post-production, and final asset delivery.
• Build and manage annual and project production budgets, track spending, negotiate rates, and manage vendor contracts.
• Develop a production calendar, repeatable workflows, production books, call sheets, approval processes, and delivery specifications.
• Manage production companies, agencies, directors, photographers, editors, post-production houses, freelancers, talent, and crew.
• Partner with Creative, Growth, Social, E-commerce, Retail, Product Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and Procurement teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of production experience, including at least 3 years at senior producer, head of production, or director level.
• Experience producing large-scale photo and video campaigns and high-volume performance and social content.
• Experience managing a multimillion-dollar annual production budget.
• Working knowledge of talent contracts, usage rights, union rules, production insurance, permits, and on-set safety.
• Experience establishing production processes and systems from the ground up.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in beauty, wellness, CPG, or another regulated category.
• Experience building or running an in-house studio.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Asana, Monday, Bynder, or Frame.io.
• Experience growing a production team over time.
