Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote within Latin America: Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, or Venezuela; must work within one hour of US Eastern Time, aligned to New York business hours.

What you will do

• Clean, structure, validate, and onboard supplier, product, and quantity data using Excel.
• Build replicable, formula-driven models using pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, and data-quality checks.
• Maintain supplier and product records across active enterprise sourcing events.
• Call and email US-based suppliers to re-engage them and track response status.
• Coordinate outreach priorities with the deployment team through Slack.
• Progress toward independently owning client accounts and identifying operational improvements.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of professional Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and IF formulas.
• Experience cleaning, normalizing, validating, and comparing datasets against source documents using formula-based methods.
• Experience building structured Excel models that are replicable and easy for others to follow.
• Professional experience making outbound calls to US-based suppliers, vendors, or business contacts.
• C1+ English is required for spoken and written communication with US-based suppliers.
• Must be located in Latin America and able to work within one hour of US Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of management consulting or boutique advisory experience.
• Procurement or supply chain experience, including tactical purchasing or supplier relationship management.
• Python experience for data manipulation or automation.
• Exposure to e-procurement or sourcing platforms.
