Specialist, Execution Services (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL — hybrid; regular office attendance is required, and remote work outside the listed location is not available. Working hours are 11:00 AM–7:00 PM CT.

Salary: $130,000–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Execute Written Supervisory Procedures and support compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations.
• Monitor equity trading systems, algorithmic controls, alerts, and proprietary order management systems for disorderly trading and operational disruptions.
• Support trade operations across equities, options, and fixed income, including discrepancy resolution, post-trade allocations, and operational risk events.
• Provide client-facing FIX connectivity support, including session monitoring, root cause analysis, post-mortems, and technical onboarding.
• Coordinate FIX configuration, OMS/EMS integrations, production testing, and responses to trading-platform incidents.
• Support OMS migration, risk-reduction, and trading-platform modernization projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in broker-dealer operations or electronic trading support.
• FINRA Series 7, 57, and 63 licenses are required.
• Knowledge of brokerage operations, electronic execution workflows, trading infrastructure, FIX protocol, and algorithmic trading controls.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, Unix/Linux command line, JIRA, and OMS/EMS platforms such as Eze or Fidessa.
• Strong project management, cross-functional coordination, client-facing communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
