Head of Operations (Automation)

What you will do

• Own the operational systems function and develop the operations roadmap across Sales, Growth, Content and Events.
• Prioritize work by business impact, challenge requests when needed and make trade-offs explicit.
• Manage the existing revenue operations and systems engineering specialists.
• Prototype, write code, connect systems and build automations when hands-on delivery is the fastest way forward.
• Establish ownership, documentation, reliability, access and maintenance standards for critical workflows.
• Drive adoption with business teams and measure success through better delivery, useful information and time saved.

Requirements

• Strong structured problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to understand internal customers and explain recommendations clearly.
• Experience using code, APIs, automation or AI tools to solve real business problems.
• Commercial judgment and the ability to connect operational improvements to revenue, delivery quality, cost or capacity.
• Ownership in ambiguous environments, including prioritizing work and following through during difficult implementation.
• Readiness to lead a small team while staying close to hands-on delivery.
• Curiosity about technology and business, with the ability to learn unfamiliar tools and domains quickly.

Nice to have

• Consulting or similar client-facing experience.
• Experience managing processes in a startup.
• Experience recruiting and developing content, design or growth operations capacity.
