Operations Placement Student - Summer 2027 Start (Fintech)

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom — hybrid, with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day operation of core business processes.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and documentation across operational systems.
• Own ad hoc operational tasks, research requests, and short-term projects.
• Support the AI delivery team in scoping, testing, and rolling out AI tools and automations.
• Learn and apply business products, rules, regulations, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with operations colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

• Currently in the second year of an undergraduate degree and on track for a 2:1 or above, or equivalent.
• Proactive, motivated, highly organised, reliable, and adaptable.
• Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
• Available for a 12-month, full-time placement starting in summer 2027 and based in the Belfast office on a hybrid pattern.
