AI Tech Lead (Senior)

Location: Hybrid in A Coruña, Spain, or Porto, Portugal; on-site travel to client locations may be needed during project stages.

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary development team including developers, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and maintain standards for clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Design scalable, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems using distributed architectures, message queues, storage models, and inter-service communication.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product designers, solution architects, product owners, QA leads, and stakeholders to scope, estimate, and deliver technical solutions.
• Define testing strategies covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, while ensuring data consistency, security, and platform performance.
• Assess technical debt and apply appropriate cloud, DevOps, and emerging AI technologies to project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead in a software development environment, including team guidance and mentoring.
• Strong experience with system design, scalable architectures, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code, scalability, caching, load balancing, security, resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, containerization, and orchestration on AWS or Azure.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required. Experience with RAG, LLMs, or voice assistants is required.
