Universal Banker

Location: On-site full-time in Halifax, NS, at Halifax-5527 Spring Garden Rd.; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance is required.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and business clients to understand their priorities and recommend suitable financial products and solutions.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans using knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investments, and wealth protection.
• Build and deepen client relationships through outreach, marketing activities, and collaboration with internal partners.
• Introduce clients to mobile and online banking applications and help them manage their banking needs.
• Work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with clients and achieving sales results.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License, Canadian Securities Course, or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-focused, goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and capable of critical thinking and group problem solving.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, learning, and digital literacy skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
