What you will do

• Provide strategic and visionary leadership as the College's chief academic administrator.
• Develop new undergraduate and graduate programs in rehabilitation and wellness.
• Increase the College's research profile and promote excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and community outreach.
• Manage budgets, personnel, space, schedules, and other College resources.
• Collaborate on student recruitment, retention, marketing, branding, advancement, donations, and grants.
• Lead accreditation activities and align College goals with university initiatives and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Social Work, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, or a closely related discipline.
• Academic credentials suitable for appointment as an associate or full professor with tenure.
• Administrative and university leadership experience comparable to department chair or higher.
• At least eight years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience with budgeting, personnel supervision, academic and professional accreditation, and student recruitment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States at the time of hire; no pre-employment sponsorship is available.

Nice to have

• Experience with fundraising, grant writing, and grant management.
• Experience with curriculum and program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Understanding of educational technology trends and experiential learning.
• Experience with strategic planning and innovative community collaborations.
