What you will do

• Lead integrated career advising and development programs for public interest, judicial clerkship, and government internships and postgraduate roles.
• Advise 1L, 2L, 3L, and LLM students, as well as alumni, on career searches, applications, resumes, cover letters, and interviews.
• Design and deliver career training seminars, professional development programs, and supporting resources.
• Develop employer outreach and recruitment strategies and strengthen relationships with judges, government agencies, and public interest employers.
• Collect, analyze, and submit internship and graduate employment data to the National Association for Law Placement, the American Bar Association, and U.S. News & World Report.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience in legal recruitment, law practice, legal education, higher education administration, or mentoring attorneys or law students.
• At least three years in public interest or service law practice and additional legal practice or judicial clerkship experience.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and a state bar license.
• Active membership in federal, state, and local bar associations.
• Valid Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
