AI & Automation Analyst, Trade Support (Fintech)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; hybrid working model with office-based collaboration and work from home.

Salary: $46,000–$72,000 per year, excluding incentive compensation and other remuneration.

What you will do

• Partner with Operations and Trade Support to identify manual processes, control gaps, and opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and workflow improvements.
• Design, prototype, test, implement, and monitor AI-enabled tools, dashboards, automated workflows, and exception-management solutions.
• Analyze operational data to identify recurring breaks, capacity constraints, control risks, and opportunities to improve scalability.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, process maps, test scenarios, and implementation plans for technology partners.
• Support user acceptance testing, production validation, issue triage, change adoption, and post-implementation reviews.
• Monitor trade-processing systems and help resolve confirmation, settlement, transmission, and other operational exceptions across products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, data analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or two to three years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical experience with generative AI, automation, analytics, or low-code tools.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to understand operational workflows, identify automation opportunities, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Experience with testing, implementation, process change, or technology adoption in a controlled business environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-service skills, with knowledge of responsible AI, data quality, information security, and human oversight.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of fixed-income instruments, MBS, money market products, municipal bonds, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Experience with the Aladdin platform, SWIFT, Aladdin Data Exchange messages, settlement workflows, or trade confirmation processing.
• Knowledge of BlackRock Query Language and its use in settlement-instruction templates and trade-routing configurations.
