What you will do

• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive written and verbal communication.
• Research, compile, and prepare regulatory documents required by US Customs and Border Protection for reconciliation and post-entry filings.
• Use ACE data and work in ACE to create, run, and review reports.
• Prepare Post Summary Corrections, Protests, Prior Disclosures, and Reconciliations.
• Research and interpret complex regulations and prepare technically relevant correspondence and procedural documents.
• Analyze spreadsheets to validate duties and fees, collaborate with colleagues, and identify process efficiencies.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong technical and persuasive writing.
• Ability to independently research complex regulatory subjects and meet demanding deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel or Access for data review, manipulation, and auditing.
• Strong planning, organization, multitasking, adaptability, and self-management skills.
• College-level Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics coursework is preferred.
• Previous trade compliance, customs brokerage, post-entry submission, or customs reconciliation experience is preferred.
