Analyst Trade Compliance

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; onsite role with legal authorization to work in the United States required.

What you will do

• Facilitate day-to-day import and export transactions in compliance with applicable US laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Export Control Classification Number classifications.
• Execute free trade agreement and country-of-origin programs.
• Perform transaction and restricted-party screening.
• Analyze import transactions for antidumping and countervailing duty impact.
• Audit trade activity, correct data, handle internal escalations, and improve related procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field, plus at least one year of business experience; co-op and internship experience may be considered.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability or willingness to learn to interpret US import and export laws and regulations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Two years of relevant experience.
• Licensed customs broker qualification.
