Business Systems Analyst III (Product & Pricing)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States. Hybrid position requiring four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day working from home per week.

Salary: $29.90–$49.84 hourly (USD).

What you will do

• Lead requirements and analysis for enhancements, regulatory changes, production fixes, modernization initiatives, and moderately complex projects.
• Document business and system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, interface requirements, and decision records.
• Analyze APIs, microservices, batch jobs, files, vendor platforms, source systems, and downstream application dependencies.
• Coordinate discovery, backlog refinement, design, testing, defect resolution, implementation readiness, release activities, and production follow-up.
• Work with engineers, architects, operations, cybersecurity, risk, control partners, business teams, and external vendors to resolve dependencies and delivery risks.
• Support cloud migration, data migration, resiliency, disaster recovery, application retirement, audit evidence, and investigation of production issues.

Requirements

• At least four years of combined higher education and/or operational or business analytics experience.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing business and system requirements throughout a project.
• Experience with connected applications, data flows, files, batch processes, APIs, interfaces, system dependencies, test planning, defect review, and production validation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple efforts with limited supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners, engineers, architects, operations teams, control partners, and vendors.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, New York four days per week.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Banking or financial services experience, especially with deposit products, pricing, rates, fees, offers, waivers, or relationship pricing.
• Experience with Zafin or another product and pricing platform, APIs, microservices, SFTP, managed file transfer, data mappings, batch processing, and system integrations.
• Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure, monitoring tools, GitLab, SDLC controls, cybersecurity reviews, disaster recovery, and regulated technology environments.
