Information Technology Support Spring 2027 Intern (Part-time) - Omaha (CMH Health)

Location: On-site in the Omaha, Nebraska office, United States, from January to June 2027; an earlier start date is possible. The internship allows up to 29 hours per week.

What you will do

• Provide helpdesk support for hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, and other end-user systems.
• Research, troubleshoot, test, and analyze technical issues while communicating clearly with users.
• Prioritize support tickets according to urgency and available information.
• Install, configure, relocate, and maintain hardware, software, conferencing, security, and other office systems.
• Guide users through new software and computer equipment.
• Create, update, and review IT documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in the Omaha, Nebraska office from January through June 2027, for up to 29 hours per week.
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree; recent graduates may also be considered.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, conferencing equipment, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of software and Windows updates and basic TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, push carts, reach, kneel, crawl, and lift equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
