Product Manager - Assistant Vice President / Vice President (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Hybrid schedule: office Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday.

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 for the Assistant Vice President level or $150,000–$185,000 for the Vice President level.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for product discovery, research, diligence, and access capabilities.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Client Solutions, and external clients.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through launch, adoption monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Define business requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, business rules, and success metrics for complex workflows.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture to build scalable search, browsing, filtering, comparison, personalization, and fund-visibility services.
• Investigate production issues, analyze root causes, and drive tactical resolutions and long-term platform improvements.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of product management experience in fintech, wealth management, asset management, investment technology, enterprise software, SaaS, or a related industry.
• Experience owning and scaling complex products from strategy and discovery through execution, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with marketplace, search, discovery, recommendation, workflow, research, or data-driven products.
• Strong understanding of access management, entitlement frameworks, visibility rules, permissions, configuration-driven systems, and scalable access capabilities.
• Technical fluency covering APIs, integrations, platform architecture, scalability, data models, system design, and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, including work with executives, clients, business partners, and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with alternative investments, advisor platforms, broker-dealer ecosystems, RIAs, wealth management workflows, or investment product distribution.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics platforms, API development tools, AI productivity tools, and data visualization solutions.
