Principal Product Manager (FinTech)

What you will do

• Own the multi-year growth strategy and 12-month roadmap for eRenterPlan and Renter Protection.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across enrollment, conversion, pricing, packaging, retention, and new coverage products.
• Lead complex initiatives covering platform capabilities, suite integrations, resident experiences, and property management company tooling.
• Build an experimentation program using A/B testing, funnel analytics, and rapid test-learn-iterate cycles.
• Optimize acquisition, enrollment, activation, renewal, and retention journeys across embedded distribution channels and partner portfolios.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data Science, Legal/Compliance, insurance carriers, and external partners to deliver and improve products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years as a senior, lead, or principal product manager owning a product line end to end.
• Proven experience driving measurable growth through product-led growth and funnel optimization initiatives.
• Deep experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, funnel analytics, KPI ownership, unit economics, and business-case development.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing teams without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting strategy, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring product managers, working with SAFe Agile and Scrum, and using SQL, dashboards, and product analytics platforms.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance, renter’s insurance, regulatory environments, underwriting, risk management, or insurance operations.
• Experience in proptech, real estate technology, multifamily property management software, embedded insurance, B2B2C, or channel distribution.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered products, personalization, or agentic platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
