Product Manager - Vice President (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Hybrid schedule: in the office Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday.

Base salary: $140,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity for full-time employees and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for products supporting alternative investment product onboarding, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Lead discovery, prioritization, requirements definition, testing, launches, adoption monitoring, and continuous product improvement.
• Translate complex workflows, operational processes, and reference data requirements into scalable product solutions and intuitive user experiences.
• Define business cases, process flows, data models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, UX, Operations, Legal, Compliance, clients, and senior stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and improve automation, data quality, operational efficiency, and user experience.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of product management experience in fintech, wealth management, asset management, enterprise software, workflow platforms, data platforms, or related industries.
• Experience owning complex products or platforms from strategy and discovery through execution, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, master data management, reference data, metadata, and data-intensive systems.
• Ability to model complex business domains and work with entity relationship diagrams, domain models, process models, workflows, data flows, and system interaction diagrams.
• Understanding of data models, APIs, integrations, platform architecture, scalability, and system design, with SQL proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, stakeholder management, and agile product delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics platforms, API tools, and AI productivity tools.
