Director, Product Management - Fraud (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, based in the downtown San Francisco office, with onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Salary: USD $180,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Drive product development for fraud detection infrastructure, risk models, third-party data integrations, and consumer verification systems.
• Lead strategic initiatives and act as product owner for engineering scrum teams delivering fraud platform enhancements.
• Facilitate trade-offs between conversion, fraud prevention, information security, and operational requirements.
• Partner with fraud management to monitor and improve fraud-related KPIs.
• Evaluate and implement third-party data and software integrations.
• Work with operations to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Significant fraud strategy, modeling, data source, and infrastructure expertise in a fintech environment.
• Leadership experience, including organizational conflict resolution and data-driven decision-making.
• Fluency with product development tools, SQL, web analytics, and A/B testing software.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and solutions.
