Principal Enterprise Architect (Cloud Integration)

Location: Hybrid role based at the headquarters near Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite work is expected four days per week.

What you will do

• Partner with engineering leadership to create architectural plans aligned with product roadmaps and company strategy.
• Design and connect modern, resilient enterprise solutions across business and technical platforms.
• Strengthen architecture practices through reusable patterns, service and API design standards, and engineering guidance.
• Provide architectural mentorship, training, technical recommendations, and liaison support across business, technology, and leadership teams.
• Evaluate IT trends, research, prototypes, and case studies to simplify enterprise integration and improve business value.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and technology teams to resolve architectural issues, mitigate risks, and optimize costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in technology-related fields, including 5+ years in technology architecture or engineering leadership.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using cloud-based services, APIs, and modern programming languages such as C#, Java, or Node.
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications, product creation, supply chain, and corporate technology capabilities.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and familiarity with AWS or Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud architectures.
• Strong influencing, communication, facilitation, analytical, negotiation, and consensus-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
