Principal Architect (Cloud Middleware)

What you will do

• Define platform-layer responsibilities, integration boundaries, and scalable separation of concerns.
• Establish API, messaging, and integration contracts across platform components and external systems.
• Shape the CubeVerse architecture, including secure connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud services.
• Set expectations for latency, throughput, availability, fault isolation, and graceful degradation.
• Define data flows and coordination patterns for performance, reliability, task allocation, dependency management, and conflict resolution.
• Own architecture decisions and reference designs, lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and set engineering standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture capacity.
• Significant experience across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience in warehouse logistics, automation, or intralogistics, ideally with 2–3 years of relevant exposure.
• Strong background in middleware, orchestration layers, control systems, or large-scale backend services.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, state machines, event-driven and messaging architectures, fault tolerance, and eventual consistency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience integrating independently owned software and control-system components.
• Experience evolving platform architectures for scalability, extensibility, and maintainable integrations.
• Cloud architecture expertise covering hybrid connectivity, observability, platform services, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
