Enterprise Solutions Architect – AWS

Location: Hybrid role based in the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. Metro area, with periodic travel to the customer site in Washington, D.C.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect and design solutions for multi-cloud hybrid infrastructure and cloud application platforms.
• Create solution roadmaps and define system capabilities, performance requirements, interfaces, and implementation approaches.
• Drive proofs of concept and minimum viable products for cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
• Develop architectural models, guidelines, and operational concepts for current and future systems.
• Assess requirements, costs, performance, and technology maturity with customers and stakeholders.
• Design solutions for application, system administration, network, and enterprise technology challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with 15+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• At least 10 years of experience architecting, consulting, designing, developing, leading, and delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud application platform solutions across complex enterprise projects.
• At least 8 years of experience across more than one technical domain, including core infrastructure, application development, data and analytics, or low-code/no-code technologies.
• No security clearance is required.
• Must be based in the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. Metro area and able to travel periodically to the customer site in Washington, D.C.

• Experience supporting the Department of Health and Human Services, especially the Office of the Inspector General.
