Maintenance Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: McIntosh, Alabama, United States; onsite manufacturing and industrial plant environment

hirify.global operates the McIntosh manufacturing site, where maintenance, engineering, production, and operations teams support industrial plant activities.

What you will do

• Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and resources with Production, Projects, Engineering, Maintenance, contractors, and external service providers.
• Ensure parts and materials are available, manage purchase orders and contractor services, and control maintenance costs.
• Create and maintain job plan packages linked to SAP work orders, notifications, goods receipts, and work management processes.
• Support the Mechanical Integrity program through inspection prioritization, recommendation tracking, equipment walk-downs, and field visits.
• Track maintenance planning and scheduling KPIs, investigate delays and equipment failures, and support root cause analysis and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance, reliability, or a related industrial role.
• Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Understanding of SAP maintenance planning and the Work Management Process.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment, maintenance scheduling practices, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional certification.
• Lean certification.
• Six Sigma certification.
