Production Manager - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; on-site third-shift production role with up to 20% travel.

What you will do

• Lead production operations against safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop production plans and coordinate with plant leadership, supply chain, purchasing, and other functions.
• Coach and develop supervisors, engineers, technical staff, and production teams.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, standardized work, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support new product development, production launches, capital equipment planning, and operational improvements.
• Manage staffing, training, performance evaluations, workforce planning, budgets, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing management experience and demonstrated production leadership.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, project management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with welding, painting, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
