Planner (Electrical and Maintenance)

Location: Wheatfield, Indiana, United States; onsite attendance required five days per week

Salary: $96,600–$144,900 per year

What you will do

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and work packets, including materials, procedures, drawings, and equipment clearance requests.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations and maintenance groups to support reliable and efficient unit operations.
• Prepare work scopes, bid specifications, cost and labor estimates, budgets, and short outage plans.
• Manage contractor projects, procurement coordination, real-time cost tracking, and dispute resolution.
• Support equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, environmental compliance, and emergency response activities.
• Assume maintenance supervisor duties during absences and respond to emergency calls outside normal hours.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employer sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• At least five years of experience in power plants, utilities, construction, industrial, manufacturing, electrical, maintenance, operations, or a related technical environment.
• Technical competence in maintenance, operations, construction, industrial processes, or related disciplines.
• Ability to spend significant time in the field performing job walk-downs and coordinating work activities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities with strong organizational, communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems, project management software, spreadsheets, word processing, and maintenance work management processes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management, industrial technology, business, or a related field.
• Experience in power generation, utilities, heavy industrial facilities, electrical systems, manufacturing, or large-scale construction projects.
• Training in Master Standard Data and experience planning outages, maintenance, construction, or capital projects.
• Experience with Maximo, SAP, Ariba, or similar work management, asset management, procurement, or supply chain platforms.
