Materials & Manufacturing Services Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States; onsite manufacturing facility.

Pay range: $92,600.00–$154,400.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations across Materials, Production Scheduling, and Product Data Management.
• Manage material flow between plants, production areas, and off-site storage locations.
• Oversee production scheduling, inventory accuracy, material availability, and manufacturing capacity alignment.
• Maintain accurate routings, work centers, operation codes, and ERP/MRP manufacturing data.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Engineering on production schedules, engineering changes, new product introductions, manufacturing transfers, and production releases.
• Lead continuous improvement, performance measurement, departmental budgeting, team development, and ISO-compliant procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Six or more years of related work experience.
• Experience managing supervisors, team leads, schedulers, or product data specialists in manufacturing or production control.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning and control, product configuration, MRP, manufacturing execution, and inventory processes.
• Experience with an ERP/MRP system such as JD Edwards, including production scheduling, shop floor control, routing, and inventory modules.
• Experience with manufacturing data governance, production constraints, reporting, data validation, and cross-functional delivery coordination.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-mix or configured-to-order manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Pierce products and processes, including sales configurator, Domino, mini orders, and master routings.
• Experience supporting manufacturing transfers, facility cutovers, or engineering changes.
• Lean Six Sigma or APICS/ASCM certification, such as CPIM or CSCP.
