Production Planning Analyst

Location: On-site at hirify.global Menomonie, Wisconsin, United States; up to 10% domestic and/or international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Expected compensation: $84,595–$103,394 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule production work centers, monitor output, and improve operational efficiency.
• Procure materials and communicate future requirements to suppliers.
• Work with manufacturing, value stream leadership, supply planners, and business stakeholders to prioritize customer requirements and resolve supply constraints.
• Manage production parameters, capacity, working and non-working inventories, safety stocks, lot sizes, and production cycles.
• Use supply chain tools and IT systems to execute production planning processes and support data-driven decisions.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on customer service, inventory investment, production flow, and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of combined experience in planning, inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Experience with supply planning, demand planning, integrated business planning, or manufacturing operations is valuable.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Nice to have

• Degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, or engineering.
• Three years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing plant.
• APICS certification or demonstrated progress toward completion.
• Experience with Factory Planner or another MRP/ERP application.
• Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.
