Materials Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead production control functions across all value streams for the central plants.
• Supervise ERP planners, materials analysts, and other assigned team members.
• Manage production orders, material movement, inventory transactions, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Scheduling, and other stakeholders to support shipping goals and customer delivery commitments.
• Analyze materials-system data, maintain database integrity, and resolve in-house and offshore inventory inconsistencies.
• Drive continuous improvement, team development, training, and conflict resolution within the production control function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervision experience.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, and access U.S. export-controlled information.
