Material and Production Planning Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and implement materials management strategies that improve material flow, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Set minimum inventory thresholds and safety stock levels while overseeing material control, inventory costs, shipping, receiving, and stores functions.
• Lead production planning, master scheduling, production control, and production status activities.
• Align customer demand, program requirements, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and operational execution.
• Lead SIOP activities for the Aerospace Instrumentation business.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading materials management, planning, and operations teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced expertise in master scheduling, production control, data analysis, and operational reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4, warehouse management systems, and other supply chain software.
• Ability to work at the Newtown, Pennsylvania location; the position may involve access to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
