Virtual Design Technician Coordinator (BIM)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; full-time in office

Salary: $34.15–$41.85 per hour

What you will do

• Model, edit, rework, and update BIM models and drawings based on designer markups.
• Collaborate with technicians, coordinators, designers, and engineers to develop coordinated models and drawings.
• Assist with field measurements of existing building systems and prepare models and drawings from field data.
• Export documents, transfer files to clients, and follow established modeling and drawing-production standards.
• Coordinate models and workflows across the design team to meet project goals and client expectations.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High level of professionalism.
• Ability to work full-time in the San Francisco office.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling.
• Revit skills and basic experience with BIM software.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools used to produce technical plans and models.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering as-built drawings.
