VP of Engineering (SaaS)

What you will do

• Define and execute the Engineering strategy with the CTO and Product leadership.
• Shape the Engineering organisation, team structure, leadership layer, and ways of working across Barcelona and Paris.
• Scale architecture, infrastructure, reliability, security, observability, CI/CD, and technical quality.
• Improve engineering velocity, delivery predictability, developer productivity, and technical investment decisions.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineering leaders and high-performing teams.
• Partner with Product, Data, and executive leadership to connect technology decisions with customer and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading large and growing Engineering organisations in a SaaS, marketplace, or product-led technology company.
• Experience at VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or equivalent senior leadership level with responsibility for multiple teams and Engineering Managers.
• Strong technical foundation in software engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, security, and reliability in a production environment at scale.
• Proven ability to scale Engineering organisations, improve execution, and develop high-performing technical leaders.
• Strong product mindset, communication skills, and experience working with Product, Data, and executive leadership.
