Senior Product Manager — North American Financial Reporting

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Toronto, Ontario office

Salary: CAD 135,000–150,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, requirements, scope, and success measures for North American financial reporting solutions.
• Define and prioritize capabilities for US and Canadian financial reporting, including statements, disclosures, and reporting content.
• Coordinate delivery through engineering and content teams, surface roadmap risks, and report product performance to senior leadership.
• Guide the use of agentic AI in customer workflows and use AI to inform strategy, specifications, and rapid customer validation.
• Monitor accounting standards changes and translate them into timely roadmap updates and compliant product releases.
• Partner with customers, advisory groups, standard-setters, sales, customer success, marketing, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in financial reporting or public accounting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and at least one Canadian framework, including ASPE, ASNPO, or IFRS as adopted in Canada.
• Ability to interpret future standards and understand disclosure requirements.
• Experience delivering through teams without direct management responsibility and defining requirements for engineering and content teams.
• Experience prioritizing competing demands, identifying risks early, and presenting evidence-based priorities to senior audiences.
• A CPA from the US or Canada in good standing is strongly preferred; equivalent depth in financial statement preparation and disclosure will be considered.
