Product Manager, Billing & Collections (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States; compensation is also provided for candidates based in Canada.

Salary: $132,000–$165,000 USD annually for USA-based candidates; $142,000–$181,400 CAD annually for Canada-based candidates.

What you will do

• Own the long-term vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Billing & Collections.
• Use customer feedback, market research, competitive insight, and product data to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Customer Success, and GTM to launch reliable billing experiences.
• Improve subscriptions, recurring payments, invoicing, dunning, notifications, payment recovery, and automation, including AI capabilities where valuable.
• Define product metrics and use experimentation and analytics to improve payment success, recovery, adoption, churn, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience owning complex products from strategy through launch.
• Experience in payments, billing, fintech, SaaS subscriptions, commerce, or a related domain.
• Strong customer empathy, business judgment, analytical skills, and ability to turn ambiguous problems into measurable product bets.
• Cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including precise trade-off framing and executive influence.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada for the applicable compensation structure.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with subscription billing, dunning, payment recovery, payment routing, risk or fraud, API-based platforms, or data- and AI-powered products.
