Head of Finance Platform and Control (AI)

Location: Hybrid, hirify.global HQ in the UK; at least 1 day per week on average in the central London office. The work-from-anywhere policy allows working from a different location for up to 6 weeks per year.

Salary: £110,000–£120,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Lead financial control, reporting and insights, finance operations, royalties and revenue across the finance function.
• Own month-end close, statutory audit, compliance, balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Lead tax and treasury, and oversee AP/AR operations including Tipalti, virtual card coding and bank reconciliation.
• Design a controls framework embedded in finance workflows to maintain continuous audit readiness.
• Partner with the Platform Integrations team to define future-state processes and deliver automation.
• Report to the CFO with board-level exposure and collaborate with engineering and product teams on finance process design.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with experience owning financial close, statutory audits, international compliance and tax complexity.
• Demonstrated success redesigning finance processes and moving from manual work to automated or system-embedded approaches.
• Experience applying AI or automation tools in a finance function and assessing where human judgement is required.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams and building capability over time.
• Working knowledge of finance technology stacks and integrations, including NetSuite, Tipalti or equivalent platforms.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least 1 day per week in the central London office.

• Experience with ERP-connected automation.
• Experience in a scale-up or high-growth consumer business.
• Exposure to royalties, multi-currency consolidation or board-level finance reporting.
