Finance Shared Service Manager

Location: Hengoed, United Kingdom; department location: Cardiff. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop Finance Shared Services across transactional finance and management accounting.
• Oversee accurate and timely month-end reporting to Group Finance.
• Establish SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and performance reporting to improve service quality and accountability.
• Standardise and optimise finance processes across supported entities.
• Manage treasury operations, cash-flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, funding activities, and working capital.
• Maintain financial controls, governance, compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation while partnering with senior leaders on business change.

Requirements

• Senior finance leadership experience managing and developing a medium-sized, multidisciplinary team.
• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax compliance, governance, and financial controls.
• Experience leading Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Master Data processes in a finance shared services environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Medius, Cognos, or equivalent finance systems.
