Shared Service Centre Manager (Finance)

Location: Hengoed, United Kingdom; department location: Cardiff. Occasional travel may be required.

hirify.global operates a Finance Shared Services Centre supporting finance operations across the organisation.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Finance Shared Services Centre and its multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee management accounting and transactional finance operations, including accurate month-end reporting to Group Finance.
• Establish SLAs, KPIs, scorecards and performance reporting to improve service quality and accountability.
• Standardise and optimise finance processes across supported group entities.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships and funding activities.
• Maintain financial controls, governance and compliance while partnering with senior leaders on organisational change and scalable service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven senior finance leadership experience with responsibility for leading and developing a medium-sized, multidisciplinary team.
• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax compliance, governance and financial controls.
• Experience leading Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll and Master Data processes in a finance shared services environment.
• Experience using governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, scorecards and operational metrics to improve service performance.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Medius, Cognos or equivalent systems.
